Partnership Criteria
What we look for in affiliates
Registered and compliant
Valid registration as RIA, broker-dealer, or other regulated financial advisory capacity. Current compliance programs and professional liability coverage. We verify regulatory status and conduct appropriate background review.
Accredited investor client base
Work with accredited investors as defined under Regulation D. Clients should have appropriate risk tolerance, liquidity, and time horizon for venture capital investments. No minimum client count or AUM threshold for affiliate participation.
Sophisticated client communication
Ability to explain complex investment structures, risk factors, and illiquidity considerations. Commitment to accurate representation of fund characteristics and appropriate client suitability assessment. We provide materials but expect advisors to maintain high disclosure standards.
Affiliate Process
Steps to partnership
Initial application
Submit affiliate application including firm information, registration status, and client base characteristics. We review applications within 5-7 business days.
Review and approval
Verification of regulatory status and background review. Discussion of affiliate economics, reporting cadence, and support resources. Execution of affiliate agreement.
Ongoing support
Access to client education materials, portfolio updates, and Investment Committee availability for questions. Quarterly reporting for client communications.
